KOUEN
CHA TRA MUE
Klongtom has established an old market in Chinatown that continues selling a wide variety of items such as electronics, games, tools, and other makers' equipment. moreover, included rare items in various types of products. The extremely charming here is an "Order in chaos" shop layout. We don't know what products we are going to find in front of us.

📌 CHAllenge
👉 Challenge:
Design a great shopping experience on an online platform to increase sales for stores in Klong Thom Center and persuade the user to travel/visit this physical market.

🖊 Roles:
     Designer, Developer, Coordinator

🔧 Tools:
     Adobe XD, WordPress, Google Analytics

⏰ Project duration:
     3 months

💼 Stakeholders:
CEO, Business specialists, Product Owners, Researchers.
📌 PROCESS
1. Plan the project (used the Klongtom user research summary" from the latest research firm)
2. Define & Create business plan
3. Ideation
4. Prototype
5. Usability Testing
6. Website Development
7. Tracking (by analytics program)
📌 FINDINGS
After getting "the Klongtom user research summary", they have summarized the main points as follows:

☀️ Highlights     1. We cannot imagine what products we will find ahead of us. Some users get lost and can't remember the shop.
     2. There are many delicious and legendary restaurants around.
     3. Adjacent to many famous tourist attractions

🧑 Persona:     1. Mechanicians: 35%
     2. Makers: 30%
     3. University students: 24%
     4. Foreigners: 7%
     5. Others: 4%

So, we get back to brainstorming with our business specialists. We have been working to develop the system in place, having the "Design thinking workshop 🔎" with CEO and continuing working for 2 weeks until we got the best solution. so we have a solution in 2 phases as follows:

     1. Website for storefront (mainly for mechanicians, makers, university students)
     2. Klongtom identity website (for tourists, and foreigners)

Then, the CEO has selected 5 store representatives and 10 regular customers came to do usability testing. Mostly, we have edited the UI style according to the looks-  simplicity, craft, and "Order in chaos - as such user-friendly.
📌 FINAL SOLUTION
♦️ KT.MARKET
The website for Klongtom Center is a simulation of the atmosphere of Klongthom in "Order in Chaos" over 100 merchants.
KLONGTOM AMBIENCE ON WEBSITE
We can filter the shop or select to display the shops randomly (order in chaos) on the homepage every month, along with whichever store has the monthly bests scores and KT badges in many criteria, for example, cleanliness, polite or legendary shop.
EXPERIENCE ORDER IN CHAOS
Even the products that we will randomly display feel like walking in a real place where we can't expect anything ahead of us. Let's find the surprise here!
MY ONLINE STORE
We will find every store has its own storefront like actually booking a store online. As above mentioned, we've opened a training session where merchants can upload all their photos manually. Including how to easily edit images from "PowerPoint" without having to pay any membership management like a design expert program.
In summary, customers may consist of 2 customer journeys as follows:
In the second scenario, when the customer has gone to the real place. We prepared a frame of QR code scanning in front of the shop so that customers can come back to see all the items on the shop homepage.
After launching and doing SEO for our website, we found that merchants are very proud of their stores. they got increasing sales during getting the feedback. moreover, they can design their beautiful website by themselves.

Surprisingly, we got the number of foreigners visiting the website at 10% (more than we expected) - such as Chineses, Hong Kongers, or Singaporeans - after we got confirmed this data. we didn't hesitate to continue on  Phase 2, the Klongtom identity website!
♦️ Klongtom.com
This website aims to promote "visits", "travel", and "dining" in Worachak area which consists of Khlong Thom, the center of the location. As we know, most people who visit our website are Chinese. So, we also added "Chinese" to the website.
This website has contained the elements that lead the visitors to the actual location.
